Welcome to Yoga with Ylva
I am Ylva, a yogi who loves the outdoors and anything to do with moving, stretching and looking after my health and wellbeing.


I specialise in teaching a holistic and mindful, gentle style of yoga. Every single movement is meant to feel good. My gentle style means I love teaching beginners, anyone experiencing anxiety and stress, it is also well-suited for anyone with physical injuries or difficulties such as profound stiffness or muscle weakness. I mainly teach private and smaller group classes where the aim is to have fun and to feel better than when we started. This is achieved by fully understanding the body, the poses and the breath, and how these beautifully weave together.

I also study anatomy, psychology, neuroscience and philosophy which is so interesting I could talk for days about it. This means you are more than likely to hear quite a few nuggets of things I’ve just read. My hope is that this will help you to gain a clearer picture of how to live a life that you are happy with, in a body that you are happy with.
