There is not a lot that can’t be made better with a cup of tea and a piece of cake

I love baking, so if you’ve been to one of my events, chances are that you have been subjected to one of my creations as it is a great opportunity for me to bake without having to eat it all myself, haha.
I am in no way an expert and everything I make is from recipes I’ve found online.
If you are looking for an expert baker, I highly recommend checking out Laura – Yummy Honey Bakes

Here are some links to the recipes I use most often:

A few wise words about tea & cake that I love and live by

  • Have your cake and eat it… there’s no other reason to have a cake! Derren Brown
  • If man has no tea in him, he is incapable of understanding truth and beauty. – Japanese Proverb
  • Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves – slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. –  Thich Nhat Hanh
  • Tea’s proper use is to amuse the idle, and relax the studious, and dilute the full meals of those who cannot use exercise, and will not use abstinence. –  Samuel Johnson
  • You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me – C S Lewis
  • Find yourself a cup of tea; the teapot is behind you. Now tell me about hundreds of things. –  Saki
